Noble Inn (Historic Oge House in King Williams)

Website: Elope to San Antonio | Your Perfect Texas Elopement Awaits (nobleinns.com)

209 Washington St, San Antonio, TX 78204

Looking to get married in a dreamy gazebo overlooking the riverwalk? Then be sure to check the photos in their website. The wedding ceremony start at $699. The package includes officiant, bridal bouquet, cake, up to 20 ceremony chairs and sparkling wine. This was one of my top choices, but this location does not allow a DJ due to neighborhood noice regulations and if you are planning a reception you would have to find a nearby restaurant. The Guenther House, Rosarios and the Maverick are all nearby. We did spend our honeymoon in their beautiful bed and breakfast.

Bonner Gardens (Historic Home in Monte Vista)

Website: Elopements & Events | Bonner Garden Bed & Breakfast | United States (bonnergardens.com)

If you want the wedding aesthetic of old money without the price tag, check out this venue. Elopement packages start at $895 (plus tax) for this stunning historic property in Midtown. Package includes minister, bouquet, Boutonniere, floral table centerpieces, wedding cake, champagne toast, 10 photographs, and one-night stay in their beautiful property. The reception event can take place by the pool and the ceremony can take place in their rooftop or in the garden. The latest update on their website is that are temporary closed but I hope they re-open soon.

Paniolo Ranch (Hill Country Wedding)

Website: Sweetest Nuptials Package - Paniolo Ranch | Texas Hill Country Wedding Venue

1510 Fm 473, Boerne Tx 78006

One of my top choices was the “Sweetest Nuptials Package” $2,675. The package included Bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, cake, champagne toasts, appetizers, cheese and fruit platter, buffet table lines and the officiant. The ceremony would take place outdoors in the breath-taking views of the Texas Hill Country. This package is only for 15 guests ($30 per additional guest) and it’s a 4-hour package. I went to see this location in person, the buffet and appetizers was to be set up on the owner’s back porch with a view of her floral garden and views of the hill country. We didn’t choose this location because it was not nearby any restaurants to host the reception dinner or brunch. You can do your research and maybe plan to drive out to a restaurant afterwards. Tony and I had our hearts set in a sit-down dinner with our family. This ranch venue is so beautiful.

King William Park Gazebo

Website: King William Park - The City of San Antonio - Official City Website

Walk down the aisle and meet the love of life at the gazebo. You can rent the gazebo for $60-120 for the first four hours depending on the weekday. You can rent chairs from Cru rentals or a local vendor. You can decorate the chairs with ribbon or floral aisle decor. The park does offer some park benches around the gazebo. Something borrowed blooms does offer rented aisle chair decor, plastic boutonnieres and bridal bouquets. Your wedding party can head to local restaurant for the reception.

Mcdoo’s Seafood Co. (Elegant Restaurant Ceremony and Reception)

Photo Inspiration from my photographer: Micaelle + Jordan Wedding Day by Lavender + Sage Photography (pixieset.com)

Restaurant Website: Private Events | McAdoo’s in New Braunfels, TX (mcadoos.com)

Restaurant Location: 196 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130

Check out the website to view how beautiful the private event rooms are at McAdoo’s. You can rent ceremony chairs, benches, arches and other decor from Cru Rentals. You have your bridesmaids set the reception room with some small floral or lantern centerpieces. You could even have your ceremony at the restaurant or at the county courthouse. I’m too familiar if you are allowed to have a ceremony at the main plaza, but it might be a good idea to look into that option. You could have a beautiful ceremony in the gazebo in Landa Park and then head over to McAdoo’s Seafood for your reception.

Brackenridge Park (Beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony)

Photo Inspiration: Elegant Picnic Wedding with a Fresh Color Palette (stylemepretty.com) (This is not the actual location)

Ceremony Chairs, Arches and decor: Collection (crurentals.com)

3700 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78212

So, assuming that you are getting married in the warmer months this might be a good option for you. You can set up your ceremony site off one the walkways leading to the river. During the springtime the river does have some lily pads. You can rent the ceremony chairs (or church pews) and other decor from Cru Rentals. When I looked online the average cost to rent a pavilion was $30 an hour and you can bring food from anywhere. I have seen weddings with Taco bars or What-a-burger catering. If you want a formal catering service, I do recommend “Heavenly Gourmet” but there are tons of options out there. You can rent Silk florals from Something Borrowed Blooms or bring in your own florals.

Olympia Hills (Elegant and Modern Wedding Venue)

Website: Wedding Packages - Olympia Hills Golf & Event Center

12900 Mount Olympus, Universal City, TX 78148

This was the wedding venue I choose because of how much help the staff offered during my wedding day, they allowed a DJ, and offered an actual sit-down meal. The package that I choose included a wedding ceremony site, ceremony chairs, indoor reception area, reception tables, table lines, napkins, charters, limo golf cart, and hor’ doevers. I had to bring my own florals, photographer, cake, officiant and DJ. The wedding event staff put out the chairs, linens and took notes on how we wanted everything placed on the table. They even hanged my garland over the ceremony arch for us. The indoor venue also included a dance floor and table centerpieces. For the centerpieces I choose the 3 vases and filled them with floating candles from Amazon. The floating candles are included but I wanted a specific style. We added an open bar for an additional fee, and we upgraded our menu items.

So, it's safe to say that we went over the original budget but we both contributed to the total cost of the wedding. To get the best deal at this venue go ahead and set your wedding day on a Sunday on an off-season month. To plan my wedding, I made a list of what was important to me during my wedding day. I wanted an elegant indoor reception venue for 30 guests, we wanted a sit-down meal, I wanted dreamy florals from Eden’s Echo, and I wanted a venue property with a lot of different photo opportunities. This venue provided me with what we wanted. I loved my wedding.
